The Results

Our first step was a detailed Google Ads audit. That audit revealed opportunities to reduce wasted spend, improve targeting, simplify campaign structure, and move away from overly broad automation that was producing low-quality traffic. From there, we rebuilt the account around high-intent concierge medicine searches, patient-based geographic targeting, and a more disciplined bidding strategy.

The results were significant. Monthly ad spend was reduced from roughly $8,000 to about $4,158 while clicks increased from about 700 to approximately 1,650 per month. Impression share improved from under 15% to about 68%, and average cost per click dropped from roughly $7.68 to about $3.20. Most importantly, the campaign began attracting better-quality inquiries from people more likely to understand and value concierge medical care.

By combining audit insights, strategic campaign rebuilding, ZIP-code-based targeting, bid control, and budget protection, we helped turn the account into a leaner, more transparent, and more effective Google Ads system.

Exceptional Health is a concierge medical practice serving patients who want a more personal, relationship-based approach to primary care. When we first reviewed the account, the internal team had already been working hard to manage Google Ads on their own. They were doing their best to navigate a complicated platform, but the account needed a deeper level of structure, visibility, and strategic control. The challenge was not simply to get more clicks. The goal was to make sure the right people were seeing the ads, the budget was being used wisely, and prospective patients were aligned with the concierge care model before they ever reached out.

What we did

We worked with Concierge Medical Marketing to support Google Ads strategy for Exceptional Health. We began with a full Google Ads audit to identify wasted spend, irrelevant search traffic, inefficient campaign structure, and opportunities for improvement. We helped internal teams by bringing added platform expertise, strategic guidance, and hands-on campaign support.

We rebuilt the campaign structure around high-intent concierge medicine searches instead of broad, low-quality traffic. We refined keyword targeting to focus on searches from people actively looking for concierge doctors, membership-based primary care, and private physician relationships. We reviewed historical search terms and removed irrelevant traffic sources that were unlikely to produce qualified patient inquiries. We reduced unnecessary complexity in the account so the campaign could become easier to understand, manage, and optimize. We used geographic targeting based on patient opportunity, focusing spend on stronger ZIP codes and reducing exposure in lower-value areas.

We applied bid management strategies to avoid overpaying for clicks and to compete more efficiently in high-value searches. We implemented budget protection measures to reduce click waste, improve traffic quality, and help ensure more of the ad spend went toward qualified prospective patients. We helped reduce monthly ad spend while increasing traffic, improving impression share, lowering cost per click, and improving lead quality. We continue to support the campaign with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and attracting the right patients for the concierge medical model.
